OUR BEGINNINGS

Pastor Antonio Hernández Betanzos and his wife Carmelita J. González Villanueva founded the evangelical church "La Puerta Abierta" (The Open Door) in September 1983; affiliating with the "Calvary Chapel" Movement in 2014. They named their son, Misael Benjamin, as senior pastor of Calvary Oaxaca in November 2022.
